Join Kat Garrod, Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Birth Doula for this 6 week Prenatal Yoga and Empowered Birth Class. Kat helps women prepare their body for labor and birth while enhancing their experience of pregnancy and birth on many levels. Yoga helps women to connect with their pregnancy and their baby’s growth. Prenatal yoga increases strength and flexibility and can alleviate common prenatal ailments, all while helping a woman to prepare her body for labor and birth.
The 6 weeks of classes will provide:
Connecting with the breath and movement to support pregnancy, labor and birth.
Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles for quicker post-natal recovery.
Lots of Squatting which strengthens gluteus muscles, supporting overall pelvic floor health.
Meditation which allows for quiet time to reduce stress for a healthier pregnancy and cultivates a relaxed state in which to connect with your baby
